A burger chain quietly testing Bitcoin payroll

Noticed something interesting about Steak ’n Shake.

They’re experimenting with paying employees a 21-cent hourly bonus in BTC. The amount itself is tiny, but the experiment is what caught my attention.

They already integrated Lightning for payments earlier, so this looks like another step moving from accepting BTC to actually distributing it.

Small payroll experiments like this might be one of the simplest ways to introduce Bitcoin into everyday circulation.
