I feel like marketing is the biggest weak spot of BCH right now. It will need to be upgraded in various ways in the future I have no doubt, but at the present time as far as I know everything is running smoothly.

BCH got a bad name right off the bat from the bcash campaigns right at the initial fork making it harder to move people already in crypto to BCH, though perhaps this has gotten easier with some people since the propaganda isn’t at 11 like it once was. Still targeting people not in crypto avoids a lot of problems I think.

Anyway, my question/suggestion I guess would be what about doing things like YouTube ads? Even tv ads? I don’t know how difficult/expensive they’d be, but the fact that BCH isn’t in the top 5 market cap anymore tells me not enough people are hearing about it other than a brief diss by BTC maximalists. If BCH is indeed as good as I think it is then surely the difference is how many people have heard positive things about it.

Has anyone run BCH ads before? I know there have been ads made, but I haven’t heard if any have been utilized. I’m not really the person to headline this or the person to know if it’s a good idea. I don’t know anything about marketing, but thought I should bring it up and let smarter people discuss it.

Anyone know the details of running ads?
