BCH Volume and Price

One of the first things you are told is important when buying crypto is volume. Whenever ive looked at charts BCH has always been in the top 3 (minus stablecoins) in terms of volume. But this doesnt seem to correlate in a higher market cap / price for BCH. For example ada and xrp have half the volume of bch but 10× the market cap/price of bch. Bnb again does half the volume of bch but has a market cap / price 25× that of bch. If bch was 3rd in market cap based on volume its true price would be $4700. Somethings not right sherlock
