Bias in the crypto market holds you back
"I hate how many people, especially older traders, will be extremely biased towards one coin or another. They won’t even discuss any other tokens or projects. This is especially true in the case of BTC maximalist or ETH worshippers, but damn it people need to have an open eye in this market lest suffer losing out on some serious chances.
My point is, you should not be biased like the traders you follow. You should definitely hold your favorite tokens first and foremost, but never go full bias. And never go full worship for a certain project. It’s just a project, it has its upsides and downsides so accept it as it is, not as you think it is.
People have this tendency, because it’s ingrained in us as we go older to settle down and follow a leader. Well, that’s not how it works. There’s a million projects in the market and you’re missing on every which one because of this cognitive bias, and this is something you should abstain from. Make sure you talk about many tokens. Discuss many tokens, but invest in whatever you want.
New tokens have brilliant ideas and you need to look into that. You can’t tell me you weren’t at least impressed by one new token project this year. Did you know there are projects that hold medical records on the block chain? Or project that are planning to sell your car ownerships as NFTs? Or projects that allow music in the NFT market? Or the Royal Falcons Club who put you into special reward systems and raffles? Or even projects that can secure your identity?
There’s a million good projects out there in the market, and the only thing keeping us from seeing this is the fog that is our previous bias. "
