Bitcoin Cash Transactions per Second vs VISA
Hi everyone,
I am just a guy, trying to get into crypto and therefore reading a lot about it. Please don't be mean to me, because I am serious and could not find an answer with an satisfying explanation.
According to some articles on the Web [1] VISA manages to compute about 24.000 Transactions per second, which can't be accomplished of any popular blockchain today. I don't know if this changed since the release of the article.
How is this meant to be accomplished by BCH, if the ultimate goal is a global peer2peer transaction network. Would this end in another soft fork down the line, which increases the block-size, when we're seeing the network is operating at its limit and fees exploding? (like the status quo on the BTC network right now?)
Or did i get it wrong, and the BCH is future-proof in the sense of being able to handle that amount of transactions in the current state?
best wishes
hodl
