Bitcoin.com wallet is so much better than most - some questions - let's learn together

So I have been playing around with many mobile wallets. Bitcoin.com wallet, coinomi, exodus, guarda, and a couple others. I noticed that for the bitcoin.com one there is absolutely no syncing when I open it. Compared to some of the other wallets that support a larger amount of coins, it is lightyears ahead. Why is this the case exactly? Is the bitcoin.com wallet using a back-end or something to do the syncing behind the scenes and present the balances in real time? Are there any wallets that support like 100+ coins that do it faster than the rest?
