Bitcoin Continues Bull Run, Price Up 17% in May

Bitcoin's price continues to climb, reaching new heights amidst market uncertainty. The CoinDesk Bitcoin Price Index rose 0.44% today, bringing the price to $69,584.04. This marks a 17.61% increase for Bitcoin in May and a 63.59% gain year-to-date.

While Bitcoin is still down 5.28% from its all-time high of $73,462.59 set in March 2024, it has surged significantly over the past year. Today's price is 165.15% higher than it was a year ago, and 178.27% above its 52-week low of $25,005.87 set in September 2023.

The price reached a high of $70,604.52 today, representing a 1.91% increase from its intraday-high.
