"Bitcoin will never be a payments system. Services like Google/Apple Pay will win the payments space." - I've heard this from Michael Saylor, Mark Cuban, and others. These people don't believe in Bitcoin.

I don't care how many billions these people are worth. Bitcoin works as money when it isn't purposely handicapped. And the idea of Apple and Google running payments for the whole world creeps me out. These companies exist to serve their own purposes through surveillance and other measures.. I don't want that future.

I've been in the space long enough to remember when bitcoin worked as money. I wasn't buying stuff with "diGiTaL GoLd", I was buying stuff with this cool new money called bitcoin. BCH still works that way, so for me Bitcoin Cash is bitcoin.
