Bitstamp BCH deposit strange address

Hi, Trying to send BCH to bitstamp, they create a qr code for old style address and new style bech32 address. However both do not work using bitcoin.com wallet. When using a qr scanner app I see the bech32 address to be "bch:xxxxxxx" instead of "bitcoincash:xxxx" Why are services not using the same address style?! If bch: is also used, why doesn't bitcoin.com wallet also support it (with a warning or whatever)?
