Can hackers know you use a passphrase?

With this cold card complete disaster, I'm wondering how much security a passphrase adds?

Can a hacker know that a hacked wallet has a passphrase associated?

My understanding is that the passphrase wallet is completely new from the original wallet

Could a hacker somehow view transaction history in/out of a hacked wallet and then assume there COULD be a passphrase wallet associated?
