Can someone explain the catalysts & key dates that shape recession + historic BTC impact if any?

Hi folks,

would appreciate anyone sharing their insights on this. I want to understand in laymen's terms what are the key catalsys to a recession, what the general course of action after a recession is and what impact people think it may have on BTC in the short-term of 3-4 years. I believe like many of you, buy BTC and hold, long term it goes up up up, just exercise patience however I am interested in learning a little bit more anyway.

So what causes a recession? What are the key dates to watch for (Election dates, fed cuts, interest rates). Assume I don't know any of it! What happens when the fed increases/decreases interest rates, why does that matter and how does that impact BTC also?

Just general information on this would be great, appreciate this is a BTC reddit, but TBH if we are all just stacking sats and holding, sure what else do we have to talk about and we have time on our side so..!
