Can you critic my post about Bitcoin Cash?
Title: A Case for Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
If you’ve been in the crypto market for a while, you must have heard of this cryptocurrency called, “Bitcoin Cash”, with a sticker (BCH). This coin is not to be confused with the famous “Bitcoin” with a sticker (BTC). Some people call BTC a Bitcoin “Core” to distinguish it from Bitcoin Cash. A word of caution, though, that you should not send (BTC) Bitcoin to a (BCH) Bitcoin Cash wallet, or vice versa, because the two coins are not interoperable and you will lose your coin if you confuse the two.
There are many theories and propagandas against Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and this post is not about the politics surrounding it. This post is about how BCH is closer to the original intention of Satoshi Nakamoto, the Bitcoin creator, and how it is the most ideal cryptocurrency in the world. You may have negative feelings about BCH but let’s put aside our own feelings for a minute and examine how BCH can be the world’s best cryptocurrency.
Reason #1: Bitcoin Cash transaction is very fast and secure.
Let’s look at the functionality of Bitcoin Cash. Its transactions are instantaneous and can be completed within 2 seconds or less, because it uses a technology called, zero-knowledge proof, which allows a transaction to be confirmed merely by announcing it. The transactions are not only fast but also secure and immutable, meaning that you cannot cancel it, deny it, hide it, or interfere with it in any shape or form. Put it simply, Bitcoin Cash is as useful as Visa and any other money transaction forms and technologies out there. Bitcoin Cash is the perfect cryptocurrency for any merchants and customers for its speed and security.
Reason #2: Bitcoin Cash is very easy to use for anyone with a smartphone.
Bitcoin Cash not only looks good on paper but it is very easy to use in real life. I would recommend anyone who’s reading this post to download an app, Bitcoin.com wallet, on your phone and start experimenting with it by sending Bitcoin Cash from and to your Bitcoin.com wallet. The transactions happen within 2 seconds or less, and the user interface is very easy to navigate and use for anyone who might not be familiar with how cryptocurrencies work. If Bitcoin Cash is to be used by merchants and customers as a daily currency, it would work fast, secure, and reliable 100 percent of the time, without a fail.
Reason #3: Bitcoin Cash transaction fee is virtually zero (incredibly cheap)
It costs only a fraction of one cent to send Bitcoin Cash and the fee is virtually unnoticeable as opposed to other popular cryptocurrencies. According to thebetterbitcoin.org, Bitcoin Cash transaction fee is about $0.00007 to transfer $10 on its layer one blockchain. To give you a better perspective, Bitcoin (BTC) charges about $0.48 fee for the same amount (source 1).
Reason #4: Bitcoin Cash is incorruptible and indestructible, which makes it the most secure cryptocurrency in existence.
Bitcoin Cash has no one leader or company that is in charge of how it runs, and it cannot be corrupted or destroyed by anyone or any group. It is a perfectly decentralized coin that is used by global community and users who ensure that Bitcoin Cash or its operations cannot be interfered by any group, company, or government. If you want a secure coin, Bitcoin Cash is it.
Reason #5: Bitcoin Cash is already being used by thousands of merchants worldwide and its trading volume is 4.3 billion dollars as of January, 2022.
According to Bitcoin.com, there were 4,300 merchants worldwide in 2021 that accept Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and the numbers are still growing (source 2). There have been growing adoptions in St. Kitts and Nevis in 2022 also (source 3). Its trading volumes on all exchanges are $4.3 billion as of 01/30/2022 according to Coinmarketcap.com. This makes the volume/market cap ratio 0.77 (4.3 billion dollar volume / 5.6 billion dollar market cap) (source 4). You can also look at the Bitcoin Cash adoption map at https://map.bitcoin.com. These numbers all point to one fact that Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is among the most used cryptocurrencies and is used as it was intended as a daily currency by Satoshi Nakamoto.
Conclusion: If a cryptocurrency is to be used as a global currency by average people around the world, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) would make a perfect currency based on all of these facts. I know that there are prejudices against Bitcoin Cash amongst the crypto investors, especially the BTC maximalists. But if we set aside our differences and look at the bigger picture of what can be accomplished by adopting Bitcoin Cash as a currency, I believe the dream of Satoshi Nakamoto will be realized where the people of the world can have true financial independence and ownership that can’t be taken away or destroyed by any one government, dictator, or external organizations.
