After some timing experimentation, there was something that was found to be slowing it down quite a bit. This is fixed now. It currently comes at the cost of slowing down for ~30 seconds every 10 minutes.

Some more work will be done to remove this con soon. At the moment anyone who claims their tip more than ~2 hours after the funds were sent, will have to wait up until a maximum of 10 minutes to receive it, but this makes it faster everywhere else. The code that needs to be added involves sending all the unclaimed tips when someone links an address. It probably should have been done this way from the start :D come to think about it.
