Coinflex and SmartBCH

Does the coinflex's problems make the the bridge with SmartBCH inoperable ?

PS : Sorry for this noob question. I know a lot about Bitcoin Cash, but the Defi aspect is something I do not understand very well. For example, where does all the yield come from ? At first, I thought (and still thinks) that the yield is a trap to block our coins and take them after enough people fall for it. Of course, I know I can be mistaken as I didn't do enough research about it.
