Did Strategy buy BTC this week?

Saylor's tweet suggests they likely bought bitcoin. But based on their guidelines:

  • Below 2.5x mNAV: Strategy will not issue common equity below this threshold except to (1) pay interest on debt obligations and (2) fund preferred equity dividends.
  • 2.5x to 4.0x mNAV: Strategy will opportunistically issue common equity to acquire bitcoin.
  • Above 4.0x mNAV: Strategy will actively issue common equity to acquire bitcoin.

mNAV is at 1.22 per their website. So they will only use MSTR ATM to pad up the USD Reserve not new BTC. They can use STRC to raise money for BTC but per their 10-Q:

Further, for any additional shares of STRC Stock that we issue under the ATM of STRC Stock, our current intention (which is subject to change in our sole and absolute discretion) is to issue any such shares of STRC Stock at a price per share not less than $99 or more than $101. However, we may issue any additional shares of STRC Stock at any price we choose.

All of last week STRC was below 99. So how do they get the money to buy new BTC? Do they let go of one of the above guidelines?
