Finally got some BCH, any opinions on good wallets?

Hello, I've been interested in cryptocurrencies for years now, and just aquired a fraction of BCH.

I "store" all my cryptocurrencies on blockchainwallet and I know that its not as safe as you could be, thus I wanted to ask if someone here has any experience with wallets, preferably hardware wallets such as TREZOR or Ledger and if they are really worth it.

Recently I looked a bit more into it, I heard about TERZOR but don't know much about it, however I watched some videos about Ledger and saw that you could store multiple cryptocurrencies and even swap them.

Does anybody here have any experience with those types of hardware wallets and are they worth buying, especially for someone who is only interested in long term (unfrequent) investing?

Me being someone who has his cryptocurrencies on a website for years on end without taking a look at it or buying more crypto regularly, I fear that one day such a website might get hacked or just go offline as an exit scam which would lead to people like me losing all of their investments.
