Gavin, Mike and Bitcoin Cash

Just for discussion: if the original vision of a scalable Bitcoin that can be used as peer-to-peer currency in a trustless and affordable way still lives on in BCH, is there a reason why Gavin Andresen and Mike Hearn are not onboard to code and develop on BCH?
