Homeownership vs BTC

Anybody else in the prime first time home buying age group looking at this disgusting housing market and rising costs of ownership and deciding they’d rather just buy bitcoin and rent? This housing market is dominated by boomers who’ve built up equity over decades and will continue to price out younger generations. Buying today seems like a one way ticket to house poverty while Bitcoin stands to appreciate higher over time. Would love to hear from others in the same boat
