How double spending is addressed in blockchain if this is the case.

What happens If a miner try to add two conflicting transaction in the same block not on two different blocks, just in a single block if he posts two conflicting transaction like A pays to B and A pays to C is written in the same block rather than in two block which cancels any one of the transaction.
