I found my moon ladies and gents
What's up fellow BCH enthusiasts! I don't have a lot of people to tell this too so figured I'd share it with you all. These last few years I've been DCA into BTC, ETH and BCH. The more I researched the more I fell in love with BCH, the community behind it and the values it holds. I know this network still has the chance to 10x or more but I'm happy to say I found my moon after this recent pump up to $1600 per BCH. (Don't worry I still hold a bag)
My mother and father are my world. They've sacrificed everything for my sister and I. During the first economic/housing crisis in 2008 they were on the worst end of it. (I was still in high school at this point so not much I could do to help) They lost everything. Their jobs, their house, retirement accounts. All that they were left with were shells of themselves. They didn't show it outwardly but every sense of their lives had been destroyed. And this was just the start of the black clouds that hung over them for years.
In 2012 my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. In order to help pay for some of these bills my father at the age of 52 was deployed to Afghanistan for extra money. (He was in the reserves up until this point) I would watch my mother drag herself to her chemo and radiation treatments by herself. I didn't have the perspective I have now so I didn't think much of it. But my god that must of been the worst years of her life. No one was ever home, her husband was 4k miles away in a war torn country and her daughter and son barely acknowledged the hell she was going through. (Teenagers man, thought my problems outweighed hers... I was so naive) Still breaks my heart thinking of those moments.
Through this she accumulated a ton of debt. Insurance is great but it does not cover everything. She was obviously out of work and the money my father was making just didn't cut it.
Fast forward to today and they're still struggling... My mother is cancer free, they are both working but they still have a mountain of debt holding them back from enjoying life / retirement.
...but on this Mothers Day that will change. I will be cutting a check to my mother for every outstanding bill she has accumulated over these years.. I am not the smartest guy (far from it) , I moved out at 18, I have a community college degree and self taught myself how to invest and take risk and boy has it paid off. I busted my ass to be in this position and I am so god damn excited to see my moms face when I hand over this money. Literally shedding a tear thinking about it.
Thank you BCH, thank you for my friends that showed me the red pill and led me down this rabbit hole. We are still so early. First step paying their debts, next step buying them a house with no mortgage. I believe it will happen sooner then we know. Financial freedom is here for us to take it.
Thanks for making it this far. Love y'all random strangers on Reddit. Life is uniquely hard, I hope we all make it.
