I was tasked to create a token/crypto with physical items as backing, is bch ready for this usage?

My associates want to issue tokens that would allow the owners to claim physical items in a store chain.

Is smartbch refined enough to be used for this?

Any pointers would be highly appreciated.

Obviously, eth fees make this usecase non-viable and I have no trust in pos eth copy-cats.
