If you’re thinking long term, how do you decide when to start buying Bitcoin?

I’ve been looking at Bitcoin from more of a long-term angle rather than trying to trade it. The part I’m stuck on is timing.

For those of you who plan to hold for years, how did you decide when to actually start buying? Did you just begin and stick to a plan, or did you wait for certain conditions before getting in?
