I'm officially in and got a couple of questions...

Little History:

Been in since 2017. Main holding XRP (no don't plan to discuss it here). I bought BCH today mainly as a speculator since its drastically down from its ATH. However, I have been learning more about it over the last month and think its fundamental purpose (utility) is well positioned in a global market in the midst of all that is happening (by this I mean the tokenization of traditional fiat and gold based systems in the midst of a period of inflation and cash printing that has never been seen before).

I have begun to see why BCH is closer in spirit to the intentions of the Satoshi white paper. Part of my understanding of this is that in a P2P trustless cash system, anonymity can be maintained (hence, wtf is Satoshi), if there is full transparency of the asset, thereby absolutely defining accountability of the asset and not the holder of the asset, aka human beings with inclinations to be greedy rat fuckers. A paramount feature of this system to work is that economic entry point must be very vey low to account for the unbanked and those with limited capital.

With this in mind, BTC has simply become a tool of the rich, wealth elite since the overall cost of the system, not just green house gas emission values, is increasing costly, especially to the financially excluded. I believe emissions are a tantamount issue, but the BTC maximalist are busy refuting this in comparison to traditional systems, which is fucking stupid as its an apples to dicks comparison. In short, I've come to see how BTC really did fuck the spirit of Nakamoto into a Wall Street chad (sorry chads, I know, you're not all chads but...lol)

So hear me, I'm on board. This is not FUD if you need to hear it. I bought 1 BCH today but I am not sure if I am going to go long or short (or both) and I have some further questions:

Questions:

  1. Political/Psychological: Why the fuck is BCH so far off the ATH stillllllll, this deep into a bull market? Look I'm and XRP holder, and I'm up 3x and still down 80% but I have good reasons, as a fundamentalist or speculator to rationalize its current situation (the SEC definitely part of the story). But WTF is up with BCH? Why is it not reacting to speculators? I mean even on just a retail level most everything else is moving up? I get it, utility takes a long time and I think the ecosystem is growing (based on what this sub is telling me lol) but why no deep speculation through BCH?
  2. Technical: What advantage, beyond first mover advantage and network effects, technologically speaking, does have over PoW vs PoC. I know this is a basic question and is really of less of interest to me, but important. To be clear, I see a place for both PoW and PoC, I'm no maxi, but what are the limits of a bigger block size and PoW? Like will this shit eventually become slow as fuck with increased users? What are the solutions to this. Also, I know I can read x, y, z on the topic but I am really hoping for a short ELI5 on this one.

Anyway, I'm beginning to see a lot of potential here, appreciate any insight.
