I've been trading for 7 years, and these are the best 3 tools for market analysis
After almost 7 years of grinding through charts, indicators, news, and all kinds of tools, I’ve narrowed it down to 3 essentials that I think everyone should know about. Here's my honest rating for each:
1. Finviz – 7/10
Great for screening stocks and getting a quick overview of the market. The heatmaps are useful, and the filters let you slice through noise pretty efficiently. That said, it's mostly focused on equities, and the UI feels like it hasn’t changed since 2012. Still solid, but not a complete solution.
2. CoinGlass – 8.5/10
Even though it was built with crypto in mind, it's surprisingly useful for spotting trends, sentiment shifts, and understanding positioning through things like open interest and funding data. It takes a bit of time to get used to, and not everything is beginner-friendly, but once you learn what to look for, it adds a lot of context to price movement.
3. Free reverse-engineered version of TradingView Premium – 10/10
That I found in sub:
Hands down the best trading software out there. It has all the same features as the original version. It's safe, and there's also an installation video showing how to get it running. Available for Windows and Mac. Don’t waste money on the original. Do yourself a favor and put that into trading or crypto instead.
