Just found Bisq, a KYC free peer to peer way to trade Bitcoin

I’ve been testing Bisq and it feels like the anti Coinbase. The app is open source, routes traffic over Tor, and every trade is locked in a 2 of 2 multisig escrow. No sign ups, no selfies, and your keys never leave your machine.

Since Bisq is fully peer to peer, there’s no central exchange handing your transaction history to tax agencies. Liquidity is thinner and spreads can be wider, so patience helps. Still, if privacy and self custody matter more than speed, Bisq is worth a look.
