Let's say an exponential explosion of SLP usage happens tomorrow. 100% growth every month. What happens next?

Can our current instructructure handle it? Will everything SLP become slow and break? Will people say to one another, well that guy took his server down and the other will say: well nobody is paying me for my server. Etc etc.

When will SLP break and what happens next?
