Looking for tools that treat crypto as currency, not speculation - what's working?
BCH community has been right about one thing from the start: crypto should be usable for everyday transactions, not just "number go up" trading.
But most infrastructure is built backwards - optimized for speculation, terrible for actual use.
The problem with most platforms:
- Designed for day traders, not regular users
- Metrics focus on "portfolio value" not transaction utility
- No support for recurring payments (salary, bills, savings)
- Tax tracking nightmare for frequent small transactions
What actual "crypto as cash" infrastructure needs:
✅ Automated recurring transactions (weekly buys, monthly payments)
✅ Low friction - should feel like Venmo, not a blockchain interface
✅ Multi-chain support (because fragmentation is reality)
✅ Simple cost basis tracking for tax compliance
✅ Non-custodial - your money, your control
Tools moving in this direction - Banana Pro does some of this - automated recurring buys on ETH/Solana, simple interface. Not BCH yet unfortunately, but represents the right philosophy: automation for regular use, not gambling.
Bigger gap nobody's filling - merchant payment tools that don't require technical knowledge. "Accept BCH payments" shouldn't mean "run your own node and integrate APIs."
So...
What tools are YOU using that actually support the "peer-to-peer electronic cash" vision vs just trading infrastructure?
BCH had the right thesis years ago. Where's the infrastructure catching up to enable actual daily use?
What gaps prevent you from using crypto for regular transactions vs just holding?
