Looking to get into smartBCH development... any faucets?

I am looking into developing and testing new web3 projects with smartBCH (low fees and BCH relationships) and writing python apps with web3.py integrations. are there any faucets to getting started?

Also what are transaction fees like on SmartBCH? some transactions on the block explorer are like 7 cents or some very high number
