It's a sad to see what happened to Bitcoin and how the narrative changed. It used to be alternative to cash that got me excited with that project. A promise that one day we can replace current broken financial system with something more fair - a progress that humanity deserves.
Right now looking at this sub most of the people here are interested only in numbers go up game and don't seem to care about real adoption and potential benefits that it could bring to us all.
But Lighting ... it has plenty of problems and its biggest (in my opionion) is that reassembles centralized custodial services that we suppose to move away from
Seeing Michael Saylor promoting use of traditional banking, credit card companies for cash transfers makes me wonder if USD is what he really cares about
Side note: posted that to r/Bitcoin but don't have much faith that it will pass through moderation
