PSA: smartBCH is not BCH and nobody speaks for the Bitcoin Cash community

smartBCH is a permissionless BCH sidechain. It is not BCH. If people using smartBCH were defrauded, then the smartBCH users can take action as smartBCH users.

However smartBCH users do not speak for BCH.

BCH is the continuation of the Bitcoin: a Peer-to-peer Electronic Cash System project. Nobody using BCH for its stated project goals was impacted by the smartBCH bridge issue.

If anyone claims to be speaking on behalf of the Bitcoin Cash community, they are a fraud. In the words of Linji Yixuan, "If you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him."
