SimpleLedger (an SLP token block explorer) now supports IPFS for hosting NFT images + 1155 Metadata format for NFTs
Great work by Salem Kode, SimpleLedger now supports:
- 1155 metadata format for NFTs
- IPFS metadata and images
What this means:
- SLP NFTs can now be decentralized in all aspects
- In future if OpenSea wants to list SLP tokens, these NFTs will have the supported information.
SimpleLedger.info is an extremely fast and snappy block explorer for SLP tokens. It's open source and built in Vue.js + NestJS.
Sample NFT (still in development):

Please note token/NFT ecosystem on Layer1 BCH is very important, next year's (hopeful) native tokens upgrade will allow us to migrate the SLP ecosystem to Native Token ecosystem, but indexers and token block explorers will still be needed.

Also big thanks to Chris Troutner and Permissionless Software Foundation for rewriting SLPDB into PSF-slp-indexer AND supporting the indexer instance.
EDIT: Wow, someone donated enough money to make SimpleLedger.info meet their funding goal. I LOVE THIS COMMUNITY!
I think we're going to start a Keep your head down and Build (HDAB) fund for builders like him.
