SLP functionality of Bitcoindotcom wallet is unreliable when using sideshift to USDT -here's how got acces back to the missing tokens

The bitcoin.com wallet uses a unique derivation path for the seedphrase and cannot be easily imported into other (SLP) wallets. The Electron Cash wallet allows users to specify their derivation path but the SLP compatible version of the software is temporarily unavailable (link) and was not always reliable.

The ActorForth team forked the Electron Cash wallet and made it more stable, they also added optional trusted validation with SLPDB servers. Here's the link to their software, it helped me out a lot: https://github.com/ActorForth/ECash-SLPDB/releases

Either use scan derivation path or specify m/44'/0'/0' for the bitcoindotcom wallet. The tokens were always safe on the blockchain, the bitcoindotcom wallet just didn't display them properly. Hope this helps other people aswell!
