The payment was easy. The refund was the part nobody had figured out
Bought something from a small shop that accepted BCH. I had some sitting around from a trade I made on Moon so figured why not actually spend it for once.
Payment itself was probably the easiest part. Scanned, sent, done.
Ended up returning the item a couple days later and thats where it got weird. Their payment processor had already converted the sale on their end and the employee had no way to just reverse it back to my wallet. Manager eventually gave me the refund in cash.
Made me realize merchant adoption isn't really finished just because checkout works. Returns, partial refunds, receipts, accounting etc probably matter just as much if normal businesses are actually going to use this every day.
Are there any BCH payment systems that handle refunds properly from the merchant side?
