The road bumps and the better cars.

There was a town where streets were so absolutely pristine, that if you dropped a tennis ball, it would never stop rolling.

Cars drove on these streets effortlessly and elegantly, no asphalt screeching to be heard, and never a bump nor a pot-hole on the roads.

It was a beautiful summer this year, and especially on this sunny weekend, a man from the pristine-streets town decided to visit another nearby town, and so he did.

Entering the new town, he quickly realized that the roads are way bumpier here and that the pot holes are serious business, however, his quick realization was not quick enough for him to hit the breaks before he hit that massive road bump, shattering his car’s front wheel axil and coming to a complete stop.

“Holy fuck!” he shouted, “what the actual fuck, what a bump!” he continued as he rolled his windows down.

Out of a nowhere, a giant silver truck appears, tattered and torn with 80’s rock bands stickers and the logos of all whiskey brands ever made, pure 2 tons of steel carried on this massive mountain-like suspension, darts in just to break next to his car.

Windows slowly rolling down and a ton of smoke escaping the truck like a genie, a man shouts from inside: “What car is this? You never faced a bump? You broke down on the town’s entrance bump, and this is the smallest one we have in town! It’s meant to tickle visitors!”

“Obviously my car isn’t built for this, at all” replied the man from pristine-streets town.

“You’re from up there, pristine town, aren’t ya?” shouted the man from inside the truck.

“Yes sir, and it seems I must be headed back, could you drop me back home?” Asked the pristine-townie.

“Absolutely, and I’ll tow your car back to your town as well, hop in.” Shouted the mysterious trucker.

As the pristine-townie eyes’ started to get familiar with the darkness inside the truck, he noticed the blues music playing in the background, the unmistakable aromatic smell of pipe smoke, and the beautiful diamond skull manning the gears.

The pristine-townie also quickly realized that this truck was absolutely custom built, unlike anything his town ever made; The treated leather finishing, the hand-stitching of the interior trimming coupled with the visible rigid metal frame, this truck is built to last.

“We used to build’em like you, pristine-townie, but then we faced our first road bump”, said the mysterious trucker hiding behind a pirate face-mask, as he kept his eyes glued on the road.

“You realize I can drive to your town anytime I want, but you broke down at the entrance of mine?” He added without breaking his sight off the road.

“Good point, I’ll definitely fix my car and add suspension to deal with that bump and visit again!” Responded the pristine-townie.

“That’ll take you as far as the second bump, then you break down again. The second bump is twice as large son.” And with a smile visible yet invisible under his mask, the trucker continued: “Worst bumps make for better cars, the larger the road bumps we faced and the more stubborn our pot-holes got, the better cars we built. We can practically drive around the world now, without a hitch. Bumps are your friends, embrace them.”

The pristine-townie thought long about this, and then he recalled that elsewhere in his technical life, he just faced another huge road bump in this project he loves; SmartBCH seems to be having trouble, indirectly affecting BCH. This is another road bump!

And this is precisely it my friends, road bumps make for better cars, we had already faced many of these in BCH, and yet another one, and we will cross it no matter what, exiting off the down ramp with a better built car.

Let’s leave the pristine-town mentality, let’s embrace the road bumps and let’s build this unstoppable financial vehicle.

A vehicle ready to drive around the world, without a hitch.
