The “Store of Value” narrative

seems silly.

How can we call anything less than ~10 years old a store of value?

The value of one asset over another is 100% a societal construct. Right? Or am I missing something here?

Calling a crypto a store of value is basically assuming you know for sure that said crypto will maintain its dominance.

We’re in the infancy of this whole thing.. how can the only selling point be its guaranteed dominance over everything else.. especially in a tech related field?!
