This time it's different

Apart from the speculative mania that surrounds all assets from growth stocks to cryptocurrencies and are fueled by printed fiat and tether alike there are some things that are different to BCH from the last rally in 2017:

-Big holders like [bitmex have already sold their BCH stack](fortune.com/2017/12/30/bitmex-liquidates-bitcoin-cash-for-bitcoin/amp/)

-Other holders have abandoned their BCH from the split either for ideological reasons or because of despair

-The new horde coming in have absolutely no idea about any feud over the different chains and when they start using the currencies they will shake their head at fees and transaction times (there are multi-millionaires that won't subscribe to netflix for 15$ a month, do you think they will pay that in fees? Not to mention emerging countries in africa and south america where there's definitely no way they will pay a months salary to pay.)

Similarities from the last bull run in 2017:

-Bitcoin Cash still works fast and cheap and can absorb a large increase in users

-Lightning Network is still "18 months" away from being ready (The same state it was in 3,5 years ago)
