Ungood experience with Trezor 1s

So I had to clear out my safe deposit box because banks don't like to do things like that anymore. In there was a Trezor, but not one I really use. Long and pointless story but that reminded me to check out my other Trezors. I don't keep much on them, I have one that I use for random coins, like I have some zcash on it and a few ETH that I didn't stake.

I have backups of all the seed phrases so that isn't a problem.

Anyways, so my random hot wallet trezor, the screen is essentially dead. If I use my phone camera in night mode I can kinda see it enough to enter my pin. So that kinda sucks.

So I decide to check the others I have, including some new in box that I had never opened. Results of four tested:

3x - super dim screen

1x - stuck on firmware 1.3.1 which apparently has some race condition to make it hard to update, apparently a bug: https://www.reddit.com/r/TREZOR/comments/bcwkud/cannot_update_trezor_1_from_131/

Granted I had basically ignored these things for years and they are really early versions. So maybe this shouldn't be too shocking.
