Using a banned servers with Electron Cash.

Is it possible to force Electron Cash to use a banned server? Like electrum.bitcoinabc.org or sv.usebsv.com for example. Clearing the banned server list doesn't help; it gets autopopulated somehow. Or am I trying to do something too dangerous? I don't really understand how software works; I'm just really persistent at fiddling with it until something turns over.
