What are the biggest obstacles of BCH?

I've been following this sub for awhile now and I feel really good about BCH. What are some of the downsides of BCH? I read it had a 51% attack awhile back. Is this under control now? What would it take that this will not happen anymore? Is development outlook good for BCH? I just want to make sure I'm seeing everything for what it is. Oh, and why does it beat SV? Thank you so much for your input! I'm just trying to learn.
