What wins long term?

Someone who understands this space better than me, please help me solve this quandary....

Buy & Hold BTC long term, say 15+ years. VS Buy, hold, & stake Ethereum(maybe Solana) same length of time.

I just started learning about staking. With the lower price point of solana/ethereum combined with the benefits of staking & holding long term... I'd like to know what this space speculated would be most beneficial
