What's going on with Antpool

Last week there was some commotion as Antpool achieved >51% hashrate on BCH. After the commotion, Antpool's %age dropped to the lower 40s%.

Now Antpool is showing 64% hashrate.

What's going on with Antpool?

There are several possible scenarios:

  1. Antpool doesn't actually have 64% hashrate, but another miner is "false flagging" blocks as Antpool to create FUD against Antpool and / or BCH

  2. If this hash is actually Antpool, then it's unlikely that they mean any harm to BCH (because why announce yourself as an attacker) so then this begs the question why they are dominating the hashrate?

A statement from Antpool is probably in order.
