As I understand all users have non custodian wallets on this social network platforms, so what's the algorithm that is being used to distribute affiliate rewards? Is it onchain, is it offchain? To be honest, not a big deal if the affiliate system rewards are calculated offchain, then being processed onchain.

I'm curious weather this system can be used on a wallet like BitcoinCom app, or any other.
