Why does BCH need SmartBCH? What are the limits in BCH that there is a need for SmartBCH?

Bitcoin (BTC) needs Lightning to be used as cash.

If there is no LN, BTC is a disaster for small instant transactions.

And that brings me to my question, BCH is created to be used as cash.

Why BCH needs SmartBCH with a link to ETH?
