Why don't the two communities(since they were one) unite?
I'm new to crypto and I apologize if my understanding is wrong.
As I understand, in 2017 the Bitcoin community clashed on the problem of scalability and block size, they had to chose between smaller block size which would make Bitcoin a good store of value and bigger block size which would make it a more efficient p2p cash solution, and there the fork happened spawning Bitcoin Cash. From my experience both are proving their worth, Bitcoin is good storage of value and Bitcoin Cash is a reliable and fast day-to-day transaction solution.
Since they both prove their goals and visions, why dont the two communities bury their hatchets and unite using BTC for storage of value and BCH for day-to-day transactions? One blockchain technology is solving both problems and lives happily together. Or is my understading really shallow and there is a deeper problem in this conflict? Maybe even problem of tribalism, why does the BCH community have such a bad public image?
I raise all of this questions to spark a discussion. I'm not biased to any one of the two coins and am genuinely interested. Thanks for reading and looking forward to the discussion.
